However, this vehicle can operate more like an electric vehicle at a wider range of vehicle speeds. Because there is the same hybrid system that we find in the regular Toyota Prius and Toyota Corolla hybrid. In short, the Hybrid system is really a key that how this vehicle works.

Moreover, electric motors in the 2020 Toyota Prius Prime are really very big and a combination of everything gives 54 miles per gallon, 25 miles on EV mode after which it will operate just like a gasoline hybrid.

Because engineers of 2020 Toyota Prius Prime very much focus on the efficiency of this vehicle so that it gives a good range as an electric car as well as a hybrid car.

Toyota Prius Prime Interior

In conclusion, Prius is exciting, super cool, and fun to drive, a great smoother drive, and most importantly, a suspension with excellent visibility on the driving seat.

Above all, the Prius Prime’s seats are very comfortable with a quality headrest. The seating capacity is increased from four to five people.

The design of the dashboard LCD is basically the same as in previous models of Prius Prime and the steering wheel is also the same as the basic design we have seen before in the previous models of 2020 Toyota Prius Prime.

Above all, Infotainment control on the left side, and on the right side, we have distance, lane keep, and cruise control.

2020 Toyota Prius Prime Trunk Space

Trunk space is less than normal Prius because of the battery pack. Still having all the seats in place there is a lot of cargo space because of the hatchback’s height, which is 19.8 cubic feet.

But you even can increase your cargo space by folding the rare seats of the car. There is no spare tire inside but there is a tire repairing kit inside the car.

Toyota Prius Prime Reviews

Opinion by Matt Smith

I’ve had my 2020 Prius Prime for 7,280 miles (yes, in 75 days!) and luckily, my average is 101.4 miles per gallon!!! Therefore, I think, the best car on the market.

No stress overcharging like Tesla owners. I charge every night just to get the initial electric drive and the initial electric drive is giving me at least 32 miles of electricity. You can charge using any outlet. This is the best care ever!!!

Opinion by Paul James

Bought a 2019 Prius Prime owned it for one month and was rear-ended totaling the car out. After a few weeks of waiting for insurance to settle, I went right back and bought another Prius Prime.

I could have bought something else but was so happy with the first Prius Prime that I bought the exact same thing again. Because I get right around 2,200 miles for roughly 9.5 gallons of gas.

Opinion by Dave

I have owned my Prime for almost a year now. I plug in at home and at work. My commute is 40 km each way so I don’t often use gas. My average so far is 1.4L / 100 km over 16000 km. Doing the math, it works out to be less per month overall than a base model Honda Civic. Looks aside, it’s a great commute vehicle!

The Relevance of 2020 Toyota Prius Prime

If you are green then the 2020 Toyota Prius Prime is a very relevant vehicle for you still. However, if you want to buy a secondary vehicle for use in the city and focus on fuel economy or need a vehicle for children to go to school, then this vehicle can be a very good choice.

According to the NBC poll 2018, the average American commute is less than 16 miles per day. So any person who travels 30 miles daily, can travel the first 25 miles on EV mode and 5 miles on gasoline, and the fuel tank of his Prius Prime will last for a month.

2020 Toyota Prius Prime Warranty

The common questions or concerns about hybrid vehicles are how long the battery of vehicles will last? And how long the hybrid components will last?

Therefore Toyota has offered a transferable warranty for the electric battery of the Toyota Prius Prime hybrid for 10 years or 150,000 miles.

This is a little bit different from other competitors of this vehicle in the market and there is also a warranty for the rest of the hybrid system for 8 years or 100,000 miles.
